My Role
School psychologists take on many roles in the school setting to help students meet with successs. School psychologists assist with academic, behavioral, social, and emotional interventions. School psychologists consult with teachers to help students in the classroom. School psychologists consult with parents to support students outside of the classroom. School psychologists serve on the Student Support Team to provide strategies to increase student engagement and achievement. School psychologists work with students individually and in small groups to promote pro-social behavior and model social skills. School psychologists are an integral part of identifying students with disabilities in need to Special Education services.
